Parents/caregivers and students are strongly encouraged to ensure that they are up to date with all information regarding the upcoming ATAR Course Examinations. Some important reminders are available below.
Students in Years 7-9 are undertaking Adaptive PAT-R (Progressive Achievement Tests - Reading) and PAT-M (Progressive Achievement Tests - Mathematics) standardised testing during their English and Mathematics classes over the next few weeks. This new CEWA initiative allows for the collection of standardised achievement and growth data that will enable processes of review and improvement.
The baseline data collected will help determine learning growth by Term 4, 2023. For students with a disability, these standardised assessments will be administered as developmentally appropriate. The adaptive nature of the PAT assessments will enable students to engage with questions at an appropriate level.
Students must bring their charged laptop to their Mathematics and English class on the day of testing. For more information about this standardised testing you can read Adaptive PAT Testing Information. Please contact Dr Ivan Resta (Mathematics) or Ms Louise Pettigrew (English) if you have any questions or concerns.
Year 10 students will complete their Semester Two Examinations between Thursday 24 November and Friday 2 December. The Year 10 Examination Timetable is available below.
Students will complete examinations for a greater number of subjects than in Semester Two, including some elective subjects.
A reminder that Year 11 students currently studying ATAR courses will sit their Semester Two Examinations between Monday 7 November and Friday 18 November. The Year 11 Examination Timetable is available below.
