WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT OUR EDUCATION ASSISTANTS?

Sacred Heart College is very fortunate to have wonderful Education Assistants (EAs) who go above and beyond in supporting both subject teachers and students during lessons. Mrs Bernadette Fitzsimons is no exception. 

In her spare time, Mrs Bernadette Fitzsimons has been creating a range of differentiated learning resources to support Humanities students become more familiar with subject specific vocabulary. Some examples are provided below.

Mrs Fitzsimons and Mrs Rebecca Delaney, the Head of Learning Support (pictured below), spent some time recently with Humanities teachers as part of our Thursday Professional Learning discussing how these differentiated learning resources might be better used to support our students in their learning.
