Student Achievements

Isabella M (Year 12)

Congratulations to Isabella who is the first student in 2022 to receive an honours pocket. This award is given to a student who has achieved the very highest level of excellence, service and character in a variety of school endeavours.

Isabella has been awarded the honours pocket for honours in Athletics, Soccer and Swimming. Congratulations! 

Oscar L & Ella E (Year 12)

Our 2022 school captains Oscar and Ella were invited to Parliament House by the Honourable Bruce Atkinson MP this week. A fantastic opportunity for them to meet other School Captains and deliberate about Melbourne's future leaders.

EISM Tennis Competition

On Wednesday 8 June, Theodora D, Laura S, Joshua P and Andy D represented Huntingtower at the EISM Senior Tennis Competition. The tournament held at the Boroondara Tennis Club involving more than 12 EISM Schools and over 60 students.

It was a cold, wet day but our students showed true Huntingtower spirit as they played 5 singles matches in trying conditions. They performed extremely well considering the high level of competition.

Sam W (Year 9)

Earlier this month, Softball Australia announced the national squads for their junior teams. Congratulations goes to Sam who has been selected in the Australian U14 squad which is a well-deserved achievement considering his performance at the National Championships in Canberra recently. Sam was also selected in the U16 Australian squad as well, well done!

Sam's baseball team the Eastern Athletics (U14) competed in the Australian Championships in Adelaide last month. Despite going undefeated in the group stages, the team were unfortunately knocked out in the semi-final. An incredible accomplishment.

Barista Certificates

Well done to the Year 10s who stayed back late last Friday night to complete their Barista course certificates. Year 10 now has 35 qualified Baristas!
