SENIOR PLAY REHEARSALS
By Leah Nicholls (Drama Coordinator)
With production week just around the corner, rehearsals are in full swing for the school play.
This year's Senior School play is A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Shakespeare’s classic comedy which explores the themes of love, magic, dreams and mischief.
The talented cast of senior students gave up time over their holidays to come in and rehearse over three separate days. The costumes are fitted, sets are built and music written - now for an audience!
We look forward to welcoming you as we present the fun, mischief and magic that is Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

YEAR 9 PROGRAM: HOMELESS PACKS
By Stephen Barrington (Guest)
A massive thank you to the families, students and staff from Belgrave Heights Christian School for your recent generous donation of socks, underwear, toiletries and non-perishables, after I recently had the opportunity to speak to the year 9 students about our work in the local community.
Foothills Community Care operates weekly community meals in Upwey and Ferntree Gully, along with delivering meals and care packages to locals in need of support in difficult times. Annually we distribute around 45,000 meals and care packages. Your donations have already gone out to so many locals, thank you.
As a local community group, we are always on the lookout for donations and volunteers. We are especially keen on donations of non-perishable foods for our deliveries or goods for our Op Shop. Volunteer opportunities are available currently at our Upwey community meal and our Mountain Gate Community Op Shop.
