Walkathon Wrap Up and Make Up Walkathon

A beautiful day greeted us on Sunday morning. The chilly start gave way to a pleasant walking temperature. A wrap up by P&F President Mr Jim Gordon appears in the newsletter.

Any student who did not attend the walkathon on Sunday will be required to take part in the make up walkathon this Friday 10 June. The make up walkathon will take place on the Flats from 3:15pm to 4:15pm.

A reminder that donations can still be made. Students who raise $200.00 receive a ticket in the State of Origin raffle.

Year 9 Respectful Relationships and Pornography Presentation

To support the work completed this term during ASH lessons the Year 9 students received a presentation from the Real Talk organisation, a catholic perspective on relationships and personal identity. A focus of the presentation was the challenge for young people living in a digital world. The topics discussed were texting and pornography. A key message given to the students was the concept of how to value the ‘real’ person and that each person created is to be shown respect and dignity.
