From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,
As we approach the half way mark of the term, we have much exciting learning to do. We encourage you to chat with your child about their learning and what is happening in their classrooms and the school. At times this may be a challenge and that is how Seesaw posts and information in the curriculum pages in our newsletter can help. Included below is some information that may also help encourage a conversation about learning.
Confirmation
Congratulations to our Year 5 /6 students who celebrated their Confirmation last Sunday, we were so proud of them. Many thanks to Fr Leo and Bishop Terry Curtin for the beautiful, reverent and special Mass and to Ms Marnie, for her work as our R.E Leader & also her work alongside Mr Bruno and Ms Julie for their preparation of the students.
Year 5 /6 Camp
To continue a very special celebration our Year 5/6 s went to Phillip Island Adventure Resort. The amazing weather ensured that everybody participated in Camp Cooking, the Giant Slide, the Flying Fox, the Initiatives Course, Low Ropes Course and Boulder Wall. There were so many highlights that we look forward to hearing the stories & seeing more photos in the coming weeks.
A special thank you to our staff who give of their time, away from their own families to enable our students to have these amazing extracurricular experiences. Thankyou to Ms Marnie, Mr Bruno, Ms Julie, Mr Josh, Mr Vi and Mr Reed who attended camp. Also we must thank the staff who were at school, covering duties and grades. We are very lucky to have a staff who support our Camp program.
