HSDC Dance Competition
Some of our students have been busy learning a dance routine to enter into the High School Dance Competition. The theme is a bollywood dance, and the students have been working really hard and enthusiastically.
Rehearsals are well under way but if you would like to support our students, Pranjal Prabbar, Chelsy Patel, Priysha Pathak, Garnoor Saini and Krupali Shah, you are most welcome to attend the performance - tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite - (find the link further below.)

'After the great success of HSDC 2015 - 2020, we are pleased to bring you the ‘High School Dance Competition 2022’ (HSDC 2022) on Saturday 27th August 2022 at Williamstown Town Hall.
Competition theme:
Bollywood refers to the Hindi language film industry, based in Mumbai, India. The Bollywood dance style is a combination of various dance forms like Indian Classical, Folk, Hip Hop, Breakdance and Salsa. It is fun and expressive with intricate hand movements and quick footwork.
HSDC is a freestyle dance competition with an aim to encourage students to participate in activities beyond learning. It is a platform to promote teamwork, boost confidence levels and inspire students to connect culturally through the art of dance.
The performance can be choreographed in any dance style. At the same time, the base music should be a Bollywood movie song and can be remixed with any other language songs.'
