Careers and Pathways
Over the past two weeks, the school community has been involved in some exciting activities aimed to assist the development of future pathways for all our students. On Thursday last week, Year 10's attended an information session in the school stadium to support their subject selection for Year 11 in 2023. Staff created fantastic displays which showcased a variety of subject based activities. Information on subject content was provided to assist students to make informed subject selection choices based on their interest areas.
To follow up, this week our year 10 students made their subject choices for their year 11 classes during a course counselling day on Thursday the 4th of August. It was pleasing to see the high attendance rate of students at the selection day, especially those who had prepared adequately by researching their pathway choices prior to their counselling sessions.
All staff worked enthusiastically with students and parents to help guide them to make sensible and relevant subject choices. On behalf of Careers and Pathways, we'd like to thank everyone for their involvement and wish all year 10 students the best of luck with their studies next year.
