BOOK WEEK is fast approaching! Maybe you would like to start thinking about which book character you will come dress up as on our Book Parade day.....

LIBRARY BORROWING

Just a reminder of your child's borrowing day:

Monday - Year 3 and Year 2

Wednesday - Prep and Year 4

Thursday - Year 5 and Year 6

Friday - Year 1

Please send any library books back to school on this day. Prep to Year 3 please bring along a library bag/shopping bag. Each week you should see some fabulous new books either coming home or being changed in students classroom book boxes.

PREMIERS' READING CHALLENGE

4377 Books read up to date!!! Keep up the great effort LPPS this is amazing.  Please ask you teacher if you require a copy of your childs login details.  The 'How To Guide' has been sent home and explains the easy steps to get started.  Every time a student reads a book, simply log the title onto your PRC tally.  There will be individual and class leader boards, with our total school book tally announced regularly at the Assemblies.  The Challenge runs throughout Term 2 and 3, so there is plenty of time to read and log books!  Prep-Year 2 must read 30 books and Year 3-6 15 books to meet the Challenge and receive a special Certificate from the Premier of Victoria.  We want to exceed our previous total books read at LPPS, so let's keep reading everyone!

THRIVE LIBRARY

Parents/caregivers are welcome to borrow under their child’s name from our THRIVE family library which includes a range of parenting and wellbeing titles.  Let their teacher know and we can make a time for you to come in and browse.
