Matilda: Bath in the glory

With such a vibrant school calendar there is barely a moment to enjoy our successes before we launch into the next exciting adventure.  After so much dedicated preparation and performance, Matilda’s season is complete, but the ship never stops and on it pushes.  Be it crafting an eloquent speech for the staff v student debate, polishing our act for College Has Got Talent, preparing for House Music, practising for AMEB examinations or the high drama of the hockey finals, we move from one incredible accomplishment to the next without a moment to reflect on our achievement, let alone ‘bath in the glory’. All the students and staff involved in staging Matilda, our first musical production since 2019, should take a moment.  They should take a long moment, to bath in the glory that should deservedly be focussed upon them, like a follow spot on opening night, for executing this incredible mission with such finesse.  Well done.

Exploring the Future of Music for Southwest Victoria

As members of the College community, we are all stakeholders in education and as such I invite you to take part in a survey that seeks to explore the possibilities for music education, participation, and performance in our region.  The attached stakeholder statement provides further details.  All community members who have an interest in this area are welcome to complete the survey.
