‘GOOD NEWS’ for the SEASON OF ADVENT

This Sunday is the first day of Advent, a time of waiting in joyful hope.  It is also the beginning of a new ‘liturgical year’ in our Church.  The infographic below is from the Archdiocese of Toronto.

The following article is from the magazine from Jesuit Publications, Australian Catholics.

Community Liturgy

Thank you to Year 8 students and Ms de Faria for preparing today’s Community Mass. Thank you also to our guest presider, Fr Peter Tran. Fr Peter is the Catholic Chaplain at the University of Western Australia and the Chaplain of St Thomas More College (residential) in Crawley.

A special thank you to all the gifted members of our Chapel Choir, to Ms Keogh and to Mr Johnston for faithfully, joyfully and prayerfully leading our liturgical music each Friday. It is a huge commitment, and a blessing for our College community.

Next Friday, our whole college will gather to celebrate the Eucharist in the St Louis Sports Centre at 9:00. Parents are most welcome to join us in this final Mass for 2017.  Our presider will be Fr Vincent Glynn, who is on our College Council and a friend to many.
