Pathways & Transition

Endorsed Programs are learning programs developed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA). One of these programs is Workplace Learning where students are placed in a work environment to demonstrate and develop transferable employability skills. At the College we employ Instep West to find suitable placements for some of our Year 11 and 12 students to gain invaluable experience by working in an industry or organisation of future career interest where they apply and adapt workplace skills and knowledge. An insight into the program can be found on in the clip below.

On Monday, some of our students, who are participating in the program this year, attended an Induction Day at Tradewinds Hotel. The day involved listening to a variety of guest speakers and participating in activities aimed at preparing them for their first day of work experience. I was extremely proud of our students who attended on the day and wish them every success with their placement.

Please contact me if you would like more information about workplace learning through InStep.
