Japanese - Posters from Nakao Elementary School

Last week, we received some wonderful posters from one of our Japanese sister schools, Nakao Elementary School. Each Nakao grade chose one topic to present that was related to Japan including traditional games, famous places to visit, food, etc. 

During Years 5 and 6 sessions, our students viewed the posters which were created in Japanese and English. It was good to see our students trying to find some information through a different language system. 

The sister schools’ Year 6 students will be graduating from their school in March. Our Years 5 and 6 students will be creating graduation cards for our sister schools. The students are pleased to have sister schools in Japan, which gives us an opportunity to exchange our learning.
