Year 4-6 Swimming Trials 

Last Tuesday,  51 students took part in the District Swimming trials. Students swam 50m races in freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke. An observation from the day was our students respect and terrific sportsmanship. It was clear everyone tried their best and were happy for each other’s efforts at the finish line. Well done to all of the students who participated. 28 students will now represent Kingswood at the Mordialloc District Carnival on Wednesday, 4th March.

Lachie (6A) Taekwondo

Congratulations to Lachie who takes part in weekly taekwondo lessons. Lachie is a black belt level 1 (chodanbo). Reaching this level has meant a huge amount of dedication from Lachie and he has been practising for the last 6 years. Well done Lachie, keep it up!

Years 2-4 Swimming Lessons

For the last 2 weeks students in Years 2-4 have been visiting Haileybury College for swimming lessons. Today was the last day of the program and I would like to say well done to all of the students for taking responsible risks
