Fete

Freaky Friday Fete set to spookify Kingswood!

Think Friday 13th is unlucky? A day of misfortune? Think again! Friday 13th March 2020 KPS welcomes back the bi-annual fete which will be full of spooky fun for everyone.

What’s your favourite part of the fete? Mines’ the rides. And if you (or your kids!) are like me, we’ve totally got you covered. Your stomach will be in your mouth when you ride the Cliffhanger and the Cyclone. But if you want to take it down a notch, go gangbusters on our jumping castles or giant slides. Even those who prefer to stay on the ground will enjoy the carousel and ball crawl, plus so much more!

If games are more your speed then be sure to visit our carnival zone! Those with nerves of steel and plenty of patience should have a go with the buzz wire. If your aim is true than the monster mouth and hook toss will be right up your alley. Most importantly when you’re on the carnival zone you can take your shot to dunk your teacher in our water tank! You’ll find Mr Cox and many of the other classroom teachers waiting for you to step up to the plate.

There will be tons of free activities for everyone too. Fabulous local performers will be gracing our main stage including Broadbent Dance Studio and the return of the impressive lion dancers. Workshop Alley is where you can head to try out bellydancing moves or bring your littlies to a Mini Maestros session. We have a full program of performers and free activities happening all afternoon & evening.

And after all that excitement, make sure you refuel at one of our many food stalls, featuring flavours from around the globe prepared by our KPS families and local businesses like Bangkok Eatery. Take a wander around the marketplace featuring our very special KPS Junior Entrepreneurs as well as many other local stallholders selling their wares.

Thank you to the FUNDamentals committee and all the parents putting in lots of hard work to putting together what is sure to be a fantastic event. We look forward to seeing you all there.
