Year 9 Commerce Elective Classes

Year 9 students participated in a taste test to confirm if they could notice the difference between branded and non-branded products.

Students sampled three different foods and made a judgement based on looks, smell, and taste. Students decided if each product was branded or non-branded.

Students then analysed the packaging, price, and quantity of each product and made a judgement if there is a difference between branded and non-branded products.

Using the evidence students gathered, they then used it to complete a written task, which was to make judgment on whether “what you pay for is what you get”.
