Middle School Excursion - Canberra 2019.

North West PSSA Gymnastics.

On 12 August, in very snowy conditions, 93 students, representing 14 schools from across the North West Region took up the chance to compete in the North West PSSA Gymnastics at the Armidale City Gymnastics Centre in three of the Gymnastics GymSports Disciplines: Men’s Gymnastics, Women’s Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics.

The Men’s Gymnastics competition included 27 competitors in the Levels 0-3, who competed on Rings, Parallel Bars, Floor, Vault, Pommel Horse and High Bar. Men’s routines are judged out of 10.00 or higher on Level 3 and above when bonus skills can be added to routines. Ben Kaberry represented our school in the Level 3 competition and gained a bronze for his overall score.  Well done Ben on your outstanding result!

Year 7 Dairy Creations.

Students in Mrs Upjohn's TAS class refined their dairy recipes for the Cheese Your Creation Competition.

Year 7 Cow Creations.

Mrs Upjohn's Year 7 class learnt about Augmented Reality with a Dairy twist. Students were instructed to colour in their dairy cows to the best of their ability. The surprise at the end of the lesson was to see their pictures come to life using Quiver Vision where they could view their cow in 3D and interact with it.
