Athletics.

Uralla Central School's athletes recently participated in their North West and Zone trials for secondary and primary school respectively. Our secondary students participated with enthusiasm and showed great sportsmanship throughout the day. Bethany Schulhin managed to make it through to the Sydney games representing North West schools in javelin and discus, well done!

Our primary students attended the Zone trials at Harris Park on a sunny albeit windy day. Our competitors represented the school with enthusiasm and excellent Uralla Central School spirit, standing tall and walking proud no matter their placing within their events. The following students displayed excellent ability allowing them a place in the Armidale Zone team to attend the North West trials in Tamworth on the 13th of September; Ben Kaberry, high jump and discus, Mason Cole, discus and Hayley Schulhin, discus and shot-put.  Well done all.
