School Cross Country Carnival

Tom Nelson

On Friday 17th of March we had our annual Cross Country Carnival. It was an amazing event with all students showing me their determination to do their best as well as the team camaraderie to support their fellow classmates.

A big shout out to the all parents who came and helped support our amazing students. I walked around the course this morning with Ragnar and the beautiful supportive messages written in chalk made my heart smile. I'm so lucky to teach at a school with such a fantastic parent community.

I was unable to annouce the top 3 place getters on Friday as there was some controversy around some of the results. There was a new course this year becuase of the contruction happening at our school and a few students did one lap less than they should of. Now that I have consulted with those students and with the parent helpers who were standing around the track I feel confident to announce the top 3 for each age group.
