Music Giants

It is a delight to welcome back the Australian String Quartet who will visit the College on Tuesday March 28th for a series of workshops and a community concert.  We are so pleased to build strong connections with music giants and so pleased about these connections because they are built on a mutual respect for the skill and dedication, and talent, that each party applies to their part.  Also, these giants are just a delight to have in our music school.

Once again, we are thrilled to be able to offer this free ASQ community concert. Tickets may be reserved at https://tha.ac/asq

Hamilton Eisteddfod entries are now open via the Stardom website.  College ensembles will be entered by the music office however individual entries should be made by parents in consultation with instrumental teachers.  Students should talk to their teachers now and start to make a plan.

Regardless of level, performing live at an Eisteddfod is a fantastic way to demonstrate learning, gain valuable performance experience, perform for a large supportive audience, and receive constructive criticism from a highly trained and experienced performance expert.  Students may like to consider entering duet and trio sections alongside their individual sections.  This can be a great way to make music with friends ………. and win some $$$$!
