Parents' and Friends'

The Parents’ and Friends’ Association would like to thank the parents who assisted with the BBQ and food stall at the Junior School athletics and have volunteered to assist on Friday at the Senior School athletics. We will have sausages in bread, muffins, fruit salads and drinks. This has proved to be enormously popular with the children and for hungry parents, so pop over – all money raised is going towards the Middle Years Garden Precinct. The Rox van is also available in the morning for coffee to keep hands warm.

Tuck Shop volunteers

We seek volunteers to assist Sally in the tuck shop. If you could help out once a month or once a term, that would be incredible. Please click on the link below to see the vacancies in the roster – if you are available it is an easy way to put your name down and assist with this vital service to the school. All moneys raised through the Tuck Shop goes to toward funding P&F initiatives that directly benefit the students.

Class Representatives

We thank the many parents who have volunteered to become class parent representatives. We are working toward establishing communication channels for year levels up to Year 10. The aim is to provide an interactive channel where new parents and current parents can collaborate to organise get togethers and to ask questions and often, in our experience, locate missing uniform items! We have found that WhatsApp has been a great tool for this. We encourage this communication with the blessing of the school but encourage any concerns about student issues, curriculum, or teaching staff to always be communicated to the school rather than in chat groups.

Second-Hand uniform store

Our Second-Hand uniform store is available by appointment so please email us or contact Zoe Price on 0400 017 565 to arrange to meet and the P&F storeroom. There are many winter skirts and blazers, particularly for Senior School students available in excellent condition as we turn to cooler months.

It was fabulous to see the team spirit of our Junior School students on Wednesday as they cheered each other on and genuinely tried their hardest in all their events. Congratulations Laidlaw! Good luck to all of our Senior School students tomorrow.

We wish everyone a safe long weekend.
