From the Acting Principal

I have experienced many high points in the role of Acting Principal this term, but the opportunity to see our students involved in so many positive events would have to be the best part.

I was thrilled to be able to watch and experience several events at our school this week. The dedication, enthusiasm and sportsmanship demonstrated by our students during their co-curricular activities was just wonderful! It is great to see our students celebrate each other’s success regardless of their team or individual performance.

From engaging music performances to intense sporting competitions, our students have showcased their talents and skills with great passion and spirit.

This week alone, our students have been involved in:

  • First IV vs Monivae
  • A Grade Women’s Cricket Grand final. Well done, Grampians.
  • Junior Cricket Finals
  • Rowing State Championships in Nagambie
  • ICCES Swimming, Badminton and Table tennis
  • Athletics Carnivals
  • Music Ensembles and Choir rehearsals
  • Library Clubs, SRC and leadership appointments
  • Middle Years School Assembly
  • No doubt there are others I have missed…

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers, coaches, captains, and volunteers who make all of these events possible.

I am proud of our students and the exceptional achievements they made in both the classroom and in their co-curricular activities – let’s continue to support and encourage every student.

I would like to wish all our families a very safe and well deserved, long weekend.
