The Rest of the School

POLICE VISIT

On Thursday August 24th, the school had a visit from Alan and Chris, officers of Victoria Police. Students had the chance to speak with the officers, ask them questions, sit inside the police car, even try on a safety vest. Special thanks to Officers Alan and Chris for spending the morning at our school and giving our students a day to remember. We look forward to continuing this special relationship between our school and our local police.

SENSORY TENT INCURSION

Thursday also saw Peppermint and Heath students (primary) had the chance to learn about swimming and water safety through play using a sensory tent. Our students had an amazing time listening to and playing with the lifeguards. A special thank you to Life Saving Victoria for visiting our school.

SSG MEETINGS

From Monday August 15th - Wednesday August 16th, the school held SSG meetings after school. This involved parent/carers/guardians meeting with their child's classroom teacher face to face and discuss their progress of the past term as well as future goal setting. It's amazing to see everyone involved in our student's education take time out of their busy schedules and work together to ensure our students are progressing in all aspects of their lives.
