New Learning Centre Open for Business - Monday 20 March

It was with great delight and happiness that we received approval to move into our new Learning Centre late on Friday afternoon following submission of its Certificate of Occupancy by the Building Surveyor.  Through the heroic efforts of our staff and CRTs, along with support of our construction company we moved into our new learning spaces over three days with minimal impact on our students.  The students are thrilled with their new classrooms and while normally we would be tiring towards the end of a long 11 week term, we all remain focused and engaged on our learning.  The spaces are bright and engaging and all students and staff are extremely grateful to be the inaugural occupants of their brand new classrooms.

All parents and carers are most welcome to attend our learning centre preview this evening (Wednesday) any time between 7.00pm and 8.30pm, whether you have sent in an RSVP or not.  The Belmore team are all so very proud of this space and would love to share it with you.

Easter Raffle

A final reminder that our Easter Raffle will be drawn on Monday 3 April, so please return all ticket sales to school by Friday 31 March.

Please contact Carole in reception or write a note in your child's diary if you would like additional tickets to sell.

Moomba Birdman Rally

A final congratulations to our very own birdman Michael Duffy on his heroic effort to come second in the Moomba Birdman Rally.  Michael presented his very large cheque and runner up trophy at our School Council meeting last Monday.  The trophy will sit proudly in our new school library and the funds raised totalling $14,500 will be put towards completing our new outdoor learning and play space.

Final Day of Term 1

With the end of Term 1 only one week away this is a reminder that school finishes early at the end of each term.  This term school will finish at 2.30pm on Thursday 6th April, so please be aware that the buses will arrive half an hour earlier to your homes on this afternoon.
