Primary Western PSSA Swimming results

The results are in from the Primary Western PSSA Swimming Carnival held last Friday. Digby swam just as fast as his district time for a finish inside the top 20 in backstroke. Zac took a whopping 38 seconds off his qualifying time for the 200m medley, and Peter set new Western PSSA records for Multi-Class butterfly and breaststroke. What a huge achievement! Peter will now be off to Sydney State Swimming for 5 events!

On Thursday 9 March 2023 ,13 high school students travelled to the Dubbo Aquatic Centre to represent Boorowa Central School at the Western Area Secondary swimming trials. It was a fantastic day for these students competing in ten individual events and five relay teams.

It was a significant effort both individually in the pool by Ty Moore, Isabella Piper, Kirsten Piper, Fergus Smith, Mylee Taylor and Tamsyn Ritchie and our five relay teams.

Some highlights on the day included these students who challenged themselves by swimming in their individual events and relay teams at these trials.

Special thanks must go to Hugh Williams from Ungarie Central School who was able to swim in the boys 6X 50 Freestyle relay team which means the team can compete in Sydney.
