Captains Corner

Welcome to the captain’s corner 😀

This fortnight lots has happened and we have been thinking of some ideas for this year, here’s a sneak peak of the ideas!

Ideas: 

• The 1000 paper crane challenge 
• A tree planting day ($1 = 1 tree)
• A code red day for Dyslexia 
• A “get to know your town day” where the year 5 and 6’s can get together with some shops and help out and the school could clean up around town.
• A day each two months where we could do food drives or donations.
• A year 5 and 6 vote for what they would like to each do each term.
• An environmental week
• World donut day where the donuts are $1
• Building connections with the Woodend Community

Cross country also happened last week and everyone tried their hardest. 

Congratulations to all the people who are going to the next level which is Term 2 Week 1 on Friday if you would like to come it is at hanging rock.
