Artists of the Week - Assembly 03.03.2023

Our first ‘Artists of the Week’ for this year are Year 5 students.  They have been drawing a ‘Desert Scene’ with chalk pastels and stencils.  The students worked hard and did a great job of using colour, blending with the pastels, cutting cardboard stencils and adding details. The ‘Desert Scenes’ look terrific.  Well done Year 5.

Our Special Artists are: Emily, Tom, Genevieve, Masie, Hayden, Zalina, Cormac, Ayden, Georgina, Hibiki, Carter, Emmie, Holly, Keira and Jack.

Artists of the Week - Assembly 10.03.2023

Year 4 students have been looking at Australian Indigenous Art.  We looked at examples of this art and discussed subject matter, colours, materials & techniques.  We then painted our own versions of traditional Indigenous art. Well done Year 4.

Our Special Artists are: Nyah, Emma, Freddy, Sophia, Oscar, Angus, Christian, Lucinda, Slater, Livvy, Palma, Shae.
