Kids Corner

The “Kids’ Corner” section of our school newsletter provides the opportunity for the children to showcase their talents or communicate something special. 

This fortnight Eva and Nanki (both in Year 3) are sharing their writing skills. 

The Hat

Today I woke up in a weird colourful place which looked like a place I knew. It looked like a planet I created which was as peaceful as paradise, with so many cute characters like a fluffy monster. 

Then I teleported and unexpectedly to a ……………. Graveyard!! 

No, no, it can’t b.b.b.e one by one zombies popped up and then I teleported again and found myself looking at a creepy looking hat. The hat shouted, “You’re the one!” 

Suddenly, everything went black and ………………… (what do you think happened?)

The Voice form the Cave

“Roar!” came a voice form the cave as a vicious tiger need to be saved in the cave. The cave was a big black hole that was created by the villain, Mr Mole.

Mr Mole was known to be a killer wherever he goes. However, the thing that makes him skilful and scary is his big pink nose. Everyone was scared because it was hard to be prepared because he just kept on appearing from nowhere, even when you were sleeping! Some people said that he will bring you bad luck by squirting you with muck from his nose. 

One day, Ranger Joe and Alicia were patrolling and heard the roar from the cave. They quickly jumped to action and released the tiger. The tiger ran out of the cave and although it was ferocious and wild, it stopped, turned around and looked at the rangers and nodded its head.

Ranger Joe and Alicia nodded their heads too, they think it was the tiger’s way of saying thank you!

Oh, Mr Mole ………….. after the tiger was released, he was never seen again! To this day no one knows what happened to him, however the tiger proudly walked around with a big grin and smile on its face!!
