Prep E

In Prep E this term, we have explored a range of topics in Mathematics including numbers, patterns, shapes and the days of the week. Based on this learning each member of our class has a learning goal from the SURF menu. We have been exploring our goals and are working towards improving our skills and achieving these goals. 

Prep E learners worked with others who had similar goals to show their understanding. This included using concrete materials such as whiteboards, counters, rubber cars and dominoes to represent a number or a pattern. Other students used a hundred chart to help develop their ability and confidence in counting to and from any number. Students then reflected on how they went with their goal and whether they feel they have achieved this and would like a new goal to work towards.
