Book Week!
We were absolutely blown away by the effort and dedication to all of the students costumes and dress ups for this years Book Week! The students enjoyed the parade and commented on the wonderful characters from across the school.
We hope the families enjoyed the parade!
Maths
In Maths this week, we have been learning about 'teen' and 'ty' numbers. We now know that teen numbers begin in a 1 and are a representation of 10 and some more and our 'ty' numbers end in 0 and are numbers such as 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90.
We made posters to show our learning.
PLD (Promoting Literacy Development)
During Term 3, we have been learning about the common digraphs during our PLD lessons. So far, we have learnt about sh, th, ch, ck as well as the vowel teams oo and ee. Our Prep students have done an excellent job as looking at a list of words and being able to break them up into their sounds.
