Our students have been learning about gender stereotypes and how these influence the way we think and treat each other. We know that many of these ideas can start at a very young age (blue is a boys colour, pink is only for girls) and can be difficult to change (only boys play sport well/ mums are more nurturing parents). We are learning to challenge these stereotypes and explore individual strengths, weaknesses and preferences.
