DISCOVERY

LEARNING

OPEN

DAY

Discovery learning is an inquiry-based learning method where where students are encouraged to construct their own knowledge through guiding questions.

It is the kind of teaching that is based on the student finding things out for themselves, looking into problems, and asking questions.  Students form their own questions, plan and implement ways of finding information and use these experiences to build answers to their own questions.  Inquiry learning is a student-centred learning approach prioritised by students taking an active role.
