Foundation News

Welcome back to all Foundation students and congratulations on a smooth transition into Term 3! This term in Content Knowledge we are focusing on Fairy Tales and Fables where students will be exploring some well-known ones as well as new ones. We have been reading about Kings and Queens and this week looking at King Midas and the Golden Touch, where students are learning that sometimes having too much gold isn’t all it’s panned out to be!

Middle School News

In Middle school we have begun a new Content Knowledge topic about the Medieval Roman Empire. Students have enjoyed learning about and exploring the Notre Dame in Paris by reading about it and also going on a virtual tour. 

In Numeracy, students have been learning about subtraction. They are learning how to rename so that they can begin to use vertical subtraction. 

Well done for students who have been completing their home reading every night and writing it in your diary for your teacher to see! Keep up the great work. 

Congratulations to Ryder who competed last term and is now the 2023 Victorian State Champion for his sport of motorbike riding! He has worked very hard to achieve this! Well done Ryder.
