RESPECTFUL RELATIONSHIPS

This term in Foundation we have been learning about effective problem solving strategies. Students are being equipped with different ways they can approach a problem, be it inside the classroom or outside the classroom. Engaging in this unit has allowed our students to practice and build on personal and social skills, and effective ways of communicating with others. These are crucial, fundamental skills in a child's development, particularly during their Foundation year at school, as the learn to navigate and manage these issues as they arise. Students have learnt three important steps when they come up against a problem. We would encourage you to continue to refer to these at home, to reinforce the positive approach to problem solving.
