What's Happening in Careers?
Visit to University of Wollongong
Discovery Day at University of Wollongong gives Year 12 students the opportunity to experience firsthand what a day at university is like.
Students receive a personal timetable and attended lectures as if they were a UOW student.
These lectures the students have nominated to attend are in areas of their interest for potential future study. It's a great way students can explore courses in more depth, learning more about an industry and university life.
At lunchtime there is plenty happening to give an insight into uni life, with great live music, activities and students from all over NSW, ACT and VIC to meet.
CSU Roadshow
Hilary and Emily from Charles Sturt University paid a visit to the senior students on Wednesday 31 January. Their presentation showed our students the opportunities available to regional students, explained uni life and what is expected of the students if they want to choose to study at university.
VET Induction
Kris Rybak, Work Placement Coordinator from Western Students Connections visited Year 11 and 12 Construction and Metalwork students today. All students completed their inductions before going out to Work Placement with various employers in the community.
