STUDENT AWARDS

AWARDS NIGHT 2016

Students have been nominated throughout the year to receive an academic excellence award for individual subjects. These awards recognise academic achievement within a subject area. Students that have received such an award across a broad range if not all of their subjects will receive an academic excellence award. Personal learning awards are awarded to students who have displayed attributes of self-reflection, persistence, problem solving and are keen collaborators in school.

The winners of a sports award are students who have represented the school beyond region level in individual or team sport.

LIONS CLUB AWARDS

Lions Club all rounder awards are presented to students in years 7 – 11 for all round excellence and achievement in 2016.  The Mount Eliza Lions Club has offered continued support to the College by sending student leaders on personal development and leadership camps such as Magic Moments and offering support to student led community projects. In 2016 this included the bullying summit that was developed and run by students here at Mount Eliza Secondary College. We are very grateful for this relationship with the Mount Eliza Lions Club.

COLLEGE DUX 2016

Mount Eliza Secondary College staff are excited that their students have once again performed extremely well.  Whilst there were many high individual scores, the college is most proud of the overall performance of our students and the number of students who achieved in excess of their expectations.  Special congratulations to our College Dux.
