I have developed a Resume Builder specifically for Kildare students. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Once you have completed the form you will then be emailed a Google Doc which collates all the information you provided. There are instructions at the back of the Resume which make some suggestions.
An important thing to note is that this is your Master Resume. Any Resume you submit should not be more than 2 pages long and should be specific to the job you are applying for. However this process is easy, just follow the following steps
- Make a copy of your Master Resume and save it as Firstname Lastname Childcare Resume
Open it and make changes
- Delete all the Instructional information
It should only be two pages, so delete anything that is not relevant for the job your applying for. If you are struggling to get it to two pages, sections that can be deleted include
- Extra Curricula
- Hobbies & Interests
- Email me your new Resume and I will check it for you before you submit it
