Curriculum Matters

Attention Year 11 and Year 12 students

Do you require exam provisions for the HSC?

NESA has a process that must be followed. Applications close Friday 12 April.

If you require exam provisions or you are not sure and need advice, you must see Mrs Shaw during Coaching in the Learning Hub.  To book a time Click Here.

For more information about disability provisions go to the NESA website Applying for provisions. Remember that the term 'disability' is very broad and the purpose of provisions is to allow you to make a fair attempt.

Here is an extract from NESA:

Students may need provisions for:

  • a permanent condition, such as diabetes or reading difficulty
  • a temporary condition, such as a broken arm, or
  • an intermittent condition, such as back pain when sitting for long periods.

It is not embarrassing to apply for or use provisions. More than 7000 HSC students apply for provisions each year. Provisions help students to show the markers what they know and can do.

All the best for your exams this term!
