Artisan of the Month 

There is one more week until the April/May AotM closes for entries. If you have created something you are proud of, email the Library library@wantirnacollege.vic.edu.au with a digital image or sound file and a brief description. You enter anything creative (photos, drawings, sewing, knitting, carpentry, pottery, origami, an original piece of music, decorated cake etc.), so long as it is your own work.  Family & Friends submissions must mention which student or staff member they are connected to. A full submissions outline is available on the Library teams page – Artisan of the Month channel 

Overdue books 

There are a significant number of books at home on shelves and in desk drawers that were borrowed over the various lockdowns. We have found that students have good intentions of bringing these back, but forget to collect them from home. Please encourage your students to check the books they have on loan via the Library catalogue (use the star dropdown list in Compass) 

Once signed in, they need to hover over their name in the top right hand corner to see a list of options, and choose Loans. They can now see everything they have on loan and if it is overdue. There are no penalities for returning overdue books 

If students are still reading a book that is overdue, ask them to bring it into the Library and we will renew it for another 4 weeks. As always, if there are any questions students can come in to the Library and speak to one of the friendly Library staff members.
