Vietnam Veterans Day

In November of 1955 until April of 1975, the world experienced a horrific war, the Vietnam war. Australia was heavily involved, volunteering in the 1960’s to help bring an end to the war and represent our country. Around 60,000 Australian troops were deployed, with a brave 521 soldiers lost in service.

On Sunday the 18th of August, we attended the Vietnam war memorial to pay our respects and represent Staughton College during Vietnam Veterans Day ceremonies. Together we laid a wreath and expressed our gratitude to the men and women who served our country and aided the nation.
