Spring Fair will be happening on Sunday 22nd October 2017, 11-4PM.
Fundraising focus:
The fundraising focus for 2018 is the school grounds in particular active and play equipment for all our students.
Meeting Schedule:
Spring Fair meeting schedule as we approach end of term. Note the times and date vary to give people a chance to attend.

Online Auction:
The auction is Open now! Go to https://www.32auctions.com/CollingwoodSpringFair2017 and register - start those bids. It all goes towards building a better school for our students.
Raffle News:
- Raffle tickets 5 x $2 per family will be sent home with your children soon. Date to be confirmed on Compass.
- Please can you help by selling or buying the raffle tickets as your family contribution towards the Raffle. Your support is greatly appreciated.
- Donations for the raffle are in place - 3 major prizes and 4 minor prizes.
- 1st Prize - Sony Bravia Pro Series Smart TV, 43-inch, valued at $1199
- 2nd Prize - Portrait session by Piccoli Portraits, valued at $845
- 3rd Prize - Acer Switch 10 pro tablet, valued at $496
- 4th Prize - Party voucher for 10 skaters at Skaterz (Eltham), valued at $200
- 5th Prize - Dining Voucher Hellenic Republic - Brunswick, valued at $150
- 6th Prize - Gift Voucher Campion Education, valued at $150 (great for booklists)

Activities and Wrist Bands
This year wristband will be on sale from Monday 28th and will cost $25. The SRC will be attending classes to help with sales. You can also buy wristbands online via Compass or in person at the school office.

What the teams do:
Communication & Marketing Team - likely sub teams - student art for poster process, poster creation with design company, social media
Marquee Team - the gang who oversee the putting up & taking down the big marquee
Sound Team - the gang who organise, source the sound equipment & manage the sound shifts in the marquee over the day
Equipment Team - organise & manage the movement of equipment (eg: trestles & marquees) shared with the Fete Collective. Manage equipment owned by Collingwood College.
OH&S Team - work with school re: safety requirements
Food Safety Team - ensuring quality control & regulation requirements
Recycling Team - oversee waste management process & organise requirements
Curry Team - chopping & chopping
Cake Stall Team - for those who like to bake

In the feedback from the 2016 Fair a handful of people indicated they would be interested in taking a leading role in Spring Fair organising if it remained in October. If

DONATIONS FOR STALLS
We are asking you to start saving donations towards various stalls. You can save these at home for the time being. Boxes will be labeled and set up in front of the main office from 1st September for you to place items.
These might include:
Plants: eg plants, pots, gardening gloves, ornaments, soil, watering cans
Books: eg novels, fiction, non-fiction, children's, sport
Bottled items (for the Mystery Bottle stall): eg wine, oil, vinegar, water, soft drink, jam, perfume
Devonshire Tea: eg jars of jam, tea bags, cream (leave cream until week before Fair)
Chocolate Blocks (for the Chocolate Game stall): eg blocks of chocolate of any type (not bars or loose chocolates)
Craft Stall Handmade items e.g, sewn, homewares, knitting, crochet, prints, woodwork. Natural materials preferred.
