VCAL Showcase

On Tuesday, we held our first ever VCAL showcase. Prior to the event, students were required to apply for two of the four jobs advertised on Edmodo and write a cover letter and resume expressing their positions of interest. This became their role and responsibility leading up to, and on, the day.

Some members were in charge of set up and pack up, others promotion and digital media as well as hospitality.

This outcome gave students necessary skills for the workplace.

During the event, students presented the community group projects they had been working on throughout the year. The students spoke brilliantly and the intention behind their projects were well and truly met!

Senior students also shared the success of their fundraising events which was just under $2,000. The money raised went towards purchasing toys, games, sporting equipment and educational tools for disadvantaged families in the community.

VCAL students should be extremely proud of all of the hard work they have achieved this year.
