Junior Rewards Day

Years 7 – 9 Semester 1 Rewards Day Reflection

On Friday the 20th of July, students from years 7, 8 and 9 attended Staughton College’s Semester 1 Rewards Day. Rewards day celebrates students who demonstrated learning progress in all their study areas, maintained a high level of attendance, and demonstrated each of the behaviours on our Student Matrix. Students were treated to a day out at the Sun Theatre in Yarraville to watch Marvel’s ‘Antman and the Wasp.’

Student reflections:

'The excursion to the Sun Theatre in Yarraville was an enjoyable experience. We watched Ant Man and The Wasp and had popcorn and drinks. Afterwards we had free time in Yarraville Gardens. My favourite part was eating donuts in the park after the movie with my friends'

'Going on rewards day was really fun. You should really try to be get invited on rewards day next semester as it’s a really good opportunity to go out.'

'Rewards day for the year 7's, 8's and 9's was a great success. We had a great turnout for the day, with the junior school going to Yarraville to watch, 'Antman and the Wasp.' The day was really enjoyable for everyone involved. The day was a great success and I encouraged my fellow peers to try their best to get to these rewards days.'
