Summer in the Ag Plot

This term has been buzzing in the Ag Plot with a whole range of activities and projects well underway. In the past fortnight, Year 8 have been busy hanging shade cloths, monitoring weed growth and  harvesting their vegetable crops.

As well as working with their produce, Year 8 were ecstatic to be able to build their cold frames and give the wishing well a touch up.

We have managed to end the year with a bit of rain in our gauge and a smile on our faces.

Year 8 would love to thank all of those who made this year in the Ag Plot possible.

Year 8 Gardening tip:

"Potted plants, especially those in terracotta pots, are vulnerable to overheating. Lightly mulch where possible and position them out of hot western sunshine."

2020 Captain Speeches

On Tuesday, 26th November 2019, our budding Year 9's took to the stage and presented their qualifications on why they best suit our Student Leadership Team in 2020.  All students were well spoken, incorporating both passion and humor while indicating that they would lead the school with "Courage and Dignity".

These students are to be commended for putting their hands up and hats in the ring, as each student has a unique skill set that will help our school blossom.

Votes have been cast and we are all eagerly awaiting the results.
