Sustainability at St Raphael's

National Tree Day - 27th July
National Tree Day is Australia's largest community tree-planting and nature care event. This year our students joined other Australians and helped plant 1 million more trees celebrating our collective connection with nature. Our Year 3/4 students and Year 5/6 students used their sustainability sessions to plant 11 Callistemon Bottlebrush bushes in our new Parish Garden. These delightful native plants will encourage birds and beautify our new outdoor area.

Alana had some mind blowing ideas about trees.
The chook chums found a total of 10 eggs from Mint, Scrambled and Nugget. One person accidentally dropped an egg so 9 are still left.
