Drama - SACE

Daniel Lynch, Drama Teacher

Tom Holloway’s 100 Reasons for War is, at first glance, a bewildering play. Commissioned as a response to the Centenary of World War One, the playwright presents “an offering” to a theatre company, writing not about the ‘Great War’, but of the myriad of everyday wars we face. The play itself is written as open text, with no indication of characters, settings or even a plot. Instead, the company must manipulate this ambitious text onto the stage using their own skills.

The emerging artists of SACE Drama are readying their interpretation of this challenging text and will present their work on Thursday 30 March, 7.00pm. Tickets are free so come along and experience a performance like no other!
