OG Alumni Panel Speaker Series - Event 1 13 June

On Tuesday 13 June, a new careers initiative was born. 

Our first Alumni Panel Speaker Series event kicked off for Year 11-12 students, which comprised of 4 passionate, enthusiastic, alumni students who volunteered their time to talk about their journey since leaving the school gates of Oakleigh Grammar. They all spoke for 10 minutes each, followed by a panel discussion where students and staff had the opportunity to ask many burning questions of our panelists.

This was followed by an informal mingle with the alumni panelists over a light luncheon of treats from our Sponsor Jamie Evans of McDonald’s Clayton and Chadstone, and Coles Oakleigh Central.  It is always wonderful to have our alumni return to Oakleigh Grammar and share their successes with us. I thank Johnny Kelepouris from the Class of 2013, Naoum Lazis from the Class of 2017, and from the Class of 2021 –, Spiridon Sklavenitis, and Theodore Gavrilescu for inspiring our students and staff alike.
