Parents' Association

Athletics

Congratulations to all the students who competed in the House Athletics last Friday at Central Reserve.  The Parents’ Association was thrilled to hand out Zooper Doopers to all students (and a few parent helpers).  We know it’s a highlight of the day.

A big thanks must go to Mel, Cathy, Michelle, and Kate for helping and dealing with the flurry of students arriving at the kiosk window all at once.   They had to quickly cut the tops off a lot of Zooper Dooper tubes, but they had it down to a fine art by the time the second class came around.

Easter Hampers

Thank you to those parents (and older siblings) who have volunteered to help with Easter Hamper wrapping on Monday afternoon.  There’s room for more people so if you are able to volunteer even half an hour of your time, please come along.  We would really appreciate the help.

Induction will be at 3.45 with Michelle at the office, followed by hamper wrapping in Ms Melke’s homeroom.

Mother’s Day Stall

I know it’s March but we’re already planning for the Mother’s Day stall in May.  We will be needing volunteers to wrap the gifts on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd May.  Like with the Easter hampers, it’s going to have to be after school, because it’s the only time we can find a room to use.

The Mother’s Day stall will be on Friday 12th May and this will be held in the school hall.  It’s always a lovely day to volunteer, because you are helping students pick presents for their mums, grandmothers, and significant others.  Please keep an eye on the Rocket in early term 2 for a call out for volunteers.
