Lexi, thank you for always being such a considerate and friendly member of Foundation A. The enthusiasm and effort that you put into every task is outstanding. When working on your 'Snake on a Cake' craft this week you showed perseverance and creativity. Keep it up!

Congratulations Georgia for your fantastic efforts in Maths this week. You represented the number eleven in many ways. You used a numberline, tens frame, tally marks and the numeral to show your mathematical thinking. Keep up the amazing work!

Well done on all your amazing work this week! After reading the nursery Rhyme 'The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly', you worked so hard to create and write your own version of it using repetition and rhyming words. Keep it up!

Congratulations Elise on the improvement in your reading. You are now confidently sounding out and blending letters together to correctly work out unknown words. You are also rechecking when what you are reading does not make sense. Keep up the great work.

Congratulations Maelynn on writing a great rhyme - "There was an old lady who swallowed a hen. She swallowed the hen to write with a pen." Your writing is always so neat, and you work hard to give your best quality work every time. Keep up the good work Maelynn.

Excellent work this week Jessica on your writing. You drafted and revised some descriptive clues for your "Who am I?" animal. You then carefully published your sentences and included a colourful illustration. Great effort!

Well done Hermione on your wonderful efforts in Maths this week. You used chance words, including 'likely' and 'even chance' to describe the probability of a spinner landing on a given colour. You also coloured your own spinner, tested it and recorded the results. Congratulations!

Congratulations Kemindu on your tremendous 'Spelling' skills and knowledge with all 'Harmony Day' Literacy tasks. You were 4P's precise word slueth of the week, even catching out Miss P on her spelling on a few occasions. Keep up the detective word work!

Congratulations Harris on your fantastic work ethic in class. You always listen with care, complete your tasks as instructed and support your peers when working in group situations. You have made excellent revisions on your Traditional Tale this week and cracked open your nouns really well. e.g. stubby tree stump. Keep up the super effort.

Congratulations Vaishnavi on a brilliant first term at SSPS! You have settled in so well and given every learning task your best effort. In writing, you demonstrated the 'Power of 3' to improve and enhance your work to make your writing more engaging, for example 'London is a city full of mystery, devastation and crime'. Excellent work! Well done!

Congratulations to Geeth for making great contributions to our class Harmony Week activities. When students were asked to think about how they make others feel that they belong in our classroom, Geeth said: ‘I show compassion, I include people when playing games, I listen to everyone’s ideas, I compliment others and I respect everyone’. Great thinking, Geeth!

Fantastic work in PE this week Dan, you displayed a great attitude and could demonstrate the correct technique in High Jump and could confidently jump over the bar. Super effort Dan!

Well done Jaiti, you showed great basketball dribbling skills with both hands and could confidently shoot the basketball in the ring using the correct technique. Keep up the good work Jaiti!
