Year 6 Report
Term 1
Well done to the Grade 6s for completing their last first term of primary school!
Literacy
This term students worked hard to plan, publish, analyse and critique a variety of product and call to action advertisements. Students created a number of ads using persuasive devices including alliteration, rhetorical questions, facts and opinions.
Numeracy
Grade 6s focused on developing their place value knowledge of both whole numbers and decimal numbers. Students explored concepts around real world examples of ordering, rounding and using both whole and decimal numbers.
Inquiry
Students consolidated their CPR knowledge through our interactive incursion with St Johns Ambulance.
